How to set-up a material library?

Each material can be assigned a number of colors. Examples of materials for a hoodie could be fleece, zipper and drawcord.

You can create as many materials as you like. Each material can be assigned a number of colors. Examples of materials for a hoodie could be fleece, zipper and drawcord.

IMPORTANT: A material is a virtual record in BRIKL that allows you to link different color palettes for different materials. The material library does not contain any digitized textures. Please refer to the Material Assets to learn more about how to add textures to your product.

In order to create a material, navigate to the Design tab in the BRIKL Dashboard. Next, click on the Material Library Tab. Create a new material, give it an internal ID (Your internal reference number) and a name, and assign colors from your Color Library.
