Super League Triathlon (SLT) and multisport apparel firm, Xceed, have joined forces in a four-year merchandising deal. This sees the launch of an online global store (now live); a physical presence at each SLT event; and personalised kit, in which the series’ professional athletes will be racing.
The new, fully customisable range includes race kit, casual wear and accessories. According to SLT, this meets ‘all the needs of competitors, spectators and fans, who will enjoy fast shipping of their high-quality goods worldwide.’
Headquartered in Mexico City, and with offices in the United States, Xceed is a multi-sport apparel brand specialising in high-performance clothing, with 15 years of experience in the triathlon market. The brand offers sizes ranging from age 4 to adult 6XL. Each product is ‘created using the latest components and fabrics technology’.
Giving consumers a bespoke online shopping experience, Xceed has implemented next-generation technology platform BrikL, providing a unique 3D design tool. This allows shoppers to customise their clothing, and visualise it from all angles at every step of their journey to the final version. As well as enhancing the user’s experience, the investment in the tool means that ‘there is a 60% reduction in production time and virtually eliminates errors that occur when processing bespoke orders’.
The new merchandise will be available to buy at all SLT events, starting with the first race of the season in Jersey on 28-29 September.
President of Xceed, Miguel Arvizu, said “This partnership is a perfect fit as we are both expanding in the same direction. Our 3D software will give SLT customers the ability to customise their apparel items by adding their names, logos and selecting their country flag… making it their own design. Our platform integrates the Super League merchandise store directly into our production equipment so these customised orders will be production-ready upon checkout, allowing all orders to be shipped in two weeks.”
CEO and co-founder of Super League Triathlon, Michael D’hulst, said “Collaborating with Xceed to develop a whole range of merchandise takes the SLT brand to a new level. Fans and spectators can feel even more a part of the Super League family; and age group participants can race in the same kit as some of the world’s greatest professional triathletes.
“Both SLT and Xceed have a key focus on ensuring customers have the ultimate experience, so we’re really excited to give this to our global audience.”
