The terms team store, group stores and microsites may be used interchangeably throughout this article but all refer to the same thing. Read more about this here.

Assigning products, packages or collections

Brikl is a multi-channel e-commerce platform, which means that products, product packages and collections must be assigned to a sales channel.

A sales channel can either be a storefront (your online shop), or a microsite or team store.

If a product, collection or package is NOT assigned to a sales channel, it will not be visible to your customer.

Assigning internal team stores

Each internal team store must be assigned to a storefront. By default all team stores are assigned the MYBRIKL storefront, if not assigned to another storefront yet.

Internal team stores need to be assigned to a storefront. External team stores do not.

Assigning payment methods

Payment methods are created on a shop (also known as 'account') level. They can also be assigned to a specific storefront or team store.

If no payment methods are assigned on storefront or team store level, they are inherited from:

  • Brikl account
  • Storefront
  • Teamstore

Assigning shipping methods

Shipping methods are created on a shop level. They can also be assigned to a specific team store.

If no shipping methods are assigned on a team store level, they are inherited from:

  • Brikl account
  • Teamstore

Shipping methods cannot be assigned to a specific storefront, only to your account or a team store.
