How do I upload a custom font?
If you want to use custom fonts for your website and studio, go to the Design Tab > Font Library and upload your font file there.
Each font or typeface usually comes with a license, even the free ones. It's worth noting that some limitations may arise within the usage of a downloaded font.
Ensure that any fonts you use have a Webfont license that's not limited to print usage.
Finding the right font format
You can upload a variety of font files inside your library.
To upload your font, click on the upload button or drag and drop it inside the box.
Step 2Once you've uploaded your fonts, you will be prompted to a pop-up like this one. Make sure you complete the following information and tick the disclaimer.
Once you've successfully uploaded your font, click on the pencil icon to view the font.
Step 3Clicking on the icon will take you to the font detail page, where you can allow the font inside the studio or not.
Great - you can now access your uploaded fonts in two areas in the dashboard!
a) Inside your theme library.
b) Inside your studio. (If you checked the 'Allow in Studio' option).
Upload the same font type
When you upload the same font type to either bold or italic, the system will recognize that it exists and add it to the same group.
When you click on upload it will merge that font type to the Font Family.
Disabling default fonts
As a merchant, you can choose to only use fonts you have uploaded, allowing an enhanced level of personalization across the platform.
Navigate to your dashboard > Design > Font Library.
Only enabled fonts (toggled on and off) will be viewable and usable in the design studio.
Applying filters to fonts
Fonts can also be set as custom or default to make it easier to select and organize typefaces across the studio. Selecting a type will only show the fonts categorized accordingly.
