How Brikl defines custom and stock products
The difference between custom and stock items can be a head-scratcher.
You may hear Brikl experts talk about stock and custom products across the platform. Or read articles in our Knowledge Base that references one and not the other.
The definition for stock items is different to stock or in-stock items that are ordinarily on-the-shelf and ready-to-be-shipped.
Stock (or embellished) product
A stock product is a standard item that has NOT been digitized for use in Brikl's 3D Visualization Studio. It can be an on-the-shelf product or a made-to-order product (e.g. embellished product).
A stock product is also known as a STOCK, MADE-TO-ORDER or EMBELLISHED product
(Full) Custom product
A custom product is a product that has been digitized. These products can be used for 3D visualization purposes in Brikl's Studio.
A custom product is also known as a FULL CUSTOM product.
